Contest Introduction

A few notes about the introduction provided to each speaker in a Contest which is different to the introduction to a speaker under almost all other circumstances.

There will be no preliminary remarks about any speaker or the subject, nor mention of the name or location of the speaker's club or place of residence. Only the announcement of the contestant's name and speech title twice.

There's no scope allowed at all for 'free format' introductions. This helps to ensure the introduction does not bear more or less favourably on any contestant, and all contestants are treated exactly the same.

District 71 (geographically the whole of GB and Eire) of Toastmasters International.
and within Division H (a part of South East England):
